The folks at Be-fro and Blight are planning on developing, writing, filming and creating the musical score for a mocumentary of life in Kidderminster.

Take Kidderminster and the type of people that can be found here, emphasise those features for comic effect - that's pretty much what we're after.

We need dedicated writers, actors, musicians and assorted helpers [cameras, lighting, website] to join the Bostasp-Blight Production Team working on this project.

At the moment [without a fully written synopsis] we plan to have five main actors and several others for extra parts that may be required. We don't require a specific number of writers, musicians or helpers, but the more people who are willing to help make a satirical mocumentary of dearest Kidderminster, the better.

If you wish to get involved, just contribute to this thread stating what you're willing to do.

Hi Adam, Kev here. As we discussed, I'd love to be one of the main actors; playing an accentuated version of myself sounds great.

Ruth, by lighting I mean just standing around holding a high-powered torch Tongue

Sounds like a plan, my musical knowledge is limited at best, so it'll be good to have you give us a hand Tongue

Hmm, that could be featured at some point. We haven't been putting much time into planning the episodes yet. Mostly we're sorting out two trailers: one 30-40 second slightly outrageous "killing the dragon" piece, which will involve a trip to Worcester and another piece of similar length around Kidderminster which still needs planning. Hopefully we can include you in that?

ill see if i can beat cubase into submission then and try and crank out some music, and then when the films been shot, see what i can bung together. if worst comes to the worst, may have to chop existing bits out of existing songs (after we have gained permission  Wink )

Just to update, we are discussing the name of this "series" so expect a comformation shortly.

Most of the primary [Worcester Fruit] trailer has been thought out and storyboarded. It needs a read-through (Eddy, this is where you come in Tongue).
The secondary [Kidderminster Lives] trailer is yet to be penned, mainly due to interest and input from people at college. It would help that all those who have ideas or are interesting in acting for the secondary trailer firstly sign up to the forum so we can keep track of you, secondly PM me with your idea(s) and/or acting interest (please also state when you're available) and either Eddy or myself will get in contact with you to discuss getting some writing time planned.

That said, we are still in need of some filming equipment, so if you can lend us any - or know of anywhere where we can hire some - please let us know.

This has also been posted here.

Update:

We're still looking for some idea's, we're at a stage where we want more ideas to kick around and expand on, if you can PM either Adam or myself with ideas your input will be greatly appreciated.

Update: Sadly we missed out on a great filming experience, "Moving Eddy back out of the flat" sadly I only came up with the idea AFTER details had been finalised, however, i'm currently writing up all the funny bits, and adding in some funny bits, so hopefully we can make a cake, and eat it.

There's also a backlog of idea's i keep forgetting to write up, here's a few:

[Policeman/Hobo] - sketch involving some confusion and ends up with a hobo smashing a "copper" dressed as a "robber" over the head with something hard.
[Demon in the Church] - sketch involving stealing protective church flag-stones and using them to build a kitchen.
[Insane Hobo #1] - sketch, i think this was just me sitting around annoying people.
[I.A. Actor] - sketch involving a short monologue.
[Artist to Arteest] - sketch involving good old english/french arguments.
[English teacher/mace to face] - sketch, pretty self explanitory.

[The Rythemic Man] - Musical interlude where a man walks up the road "chinking" the change in his pocket, people join him making a variety of sounds - i think i was high when i came up with this one, but it was real at the time.
